Guess who I had the pleasure of partying with this evening? The beautiful Jazmine Sullivan who performed at the Bally’s Flagship store opening in Beverly Hills. The gala was a fundraiser for the DKMS foundation (deletebloodcancer.org).
The event brought out entertainment, fashion and music tastemakers hosted by Grammy Award winning producer Randy Jackson, Katharine Harf Co-founder of DKMS and Claudio Cividino, Bally Americas CEO.
The night was filled with great music, food and champagne with a percentage of Bally purchases going to DKMS. Nice to have some shopping time for me!
In the May 12th article “Fat Thighs Matter” by Frenchie Davis for Ebony.com the curvy actress/singer gives a shout out to “Curvy Style With Timothy Snell”.
Curvy Style is a series on CentricTV that documents one of Hollywood’s hottest celebrity stylists on his fashion-forward journey to help thicker-than-a-Snicker celebs, and everyday women, feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable in their skin. This is a beautiful thing.
The show is a beautiful thing, because for as long as I can remember, plus size women have typically been excluded from dialogue surrounding fashion and beauty. For years, we’ve consistently been told, both verbally and nonverbally, by the style industry that we dare not have the audacity to feel beautiful or sexy.

EXCLUSIVE: Catch a Sneak Peek of Actress Amber Riley on ‘Curvy Style’ With Timothy Snell.
“The annual ESSENCE Women in Hollywood event is always one for the books — so it’s no wonder actress Amber Riley teamed up with celebrity stylist and curve specialist Timothy Snell for a winning look.”
Torrid is a “go to” brand for curvy ladies to find quality denim designed to fit their curves. This was my opportunity to meet the team behind the fit, the style and the quality of the hugely popular denim line.
The reason behind the great fit of the Torrid jean is the painstaking effort of the design and production teams to address the needs of the curvy body with style.
By the end of the day I had thoroughly enjoyed myself with the gracious staff, connected with the fans and took a “Torrid Selfie” against their wall.

I have the pleasure of being featured in the Summer issue of Slink magazine.
Every curvy lady should get their slink on! Slink is a UK based publication that features fashion, curves in the news and lifestyle resources for the plus-size/curvy community. Case in point, their “The A – Z Of Plus Size” feature.
Beautiful curvy models grace the pages of Slink with tons of style inspiration. You can check out the complete A-Z list when the issue hits stands in the U.S. the week of June 14th or can be purchased online at: SlinkMagazine.com

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Anna Quintana for the online fashion magazine StyleBlazer . We spoke about styling my celebrity clients, my expertise in the curvy/plus-size market and the upcoming launch of my new show “Curve Appeal”.
I have a curvy sister and she has curvy friends,” Snell said. “When I would shop with her I would get so disgusted and upset. If you walk through department stores, you probably see 2,000 different collections for different designers and then you go upstairs and its dismal in the plus size department.
First thing you need to learn your body. Learn your body, and when you shop, shop for the largest part of your body, so that particular garment will hang with ease in that area, and then you tailor back everything else to fit you properly.
I took a plane to the big Apple to begin a new chapter in my life!
It has been my mission to change the plus-size/curvy landscape in fashion for quite some time. I’m very excited to announce that I will be the host and Co-Executive Producer of “Curve Appeal” a new television series for the BET Network. The official announcement was made in New York this month to an industry audience by Queen Latifah.
“Curve Appeal” is a tremendous opportunity for me to showcase women with curves and share my expertise for chic, sophisticated style from designer brands to affordable brands.
I believe every woman is empowered by discovering her own personal style. I enjoy having fun with style so for the Queen Latifah Show, I went out in search of a lady in need of a Jeantervention.
Shopping for the perfect jean can be extremely daunting but it doesn’t have to be. On this segment of the show I featured audience member Jeantervention makeovers that prove what that right fit for your curves can do.
Tim, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else do what we’ve done on The Queen Latifah Show, which is show two women side by side…I think we should all be able to look as beautiful as we want to… – Queen Latifah
For two seasons I’ve presented Modern Curves, Modern Style segments for the Queen Latifah show. My goal is to show women that they can achieve great style whether they’re size 2 or 22. I was excited and honored to sit with Queen and spend an hour enjoying a behind the scenes look at her style and fashion segments from the series.
